This week, we’re bringing forward a couple of new parts to fit two of our most popular selling vehicle marques – VW and BMW.
For VW, PFF3-1326 Lower Torque Mount Bush is made from our stiffest Black 95A material to provide a durable replacement for the factory rubber bush to give road or tuned vehicles a sharper throttle response and more positive gear-change without compromising ride quality and NVH.
An increase in stiffness by 50% over the worn OE rubber bush helps to reduce excessive engine movement caused by the torque reaction of the engine during acceleration and deceleration, one of the biggest causes of wheel-hop on tuned FWD or front-engined vehicles.
This new part is the perfect accompaniment for our previously released range of engine mount inserts and suspension bushes for the VAG MQB platform vehicles.
For BMW, PFR5-420P Rear Subframe Front Mounting Bush is a Purple 80A version of our previously released PFR5-420 for E8*/E9* and F3* models.
This part has been introduced to accompany PFR5-422P Rear Subframe Rear Mounting Bush which is a full replacement bush recommended for tuned road or occasional track use where a higher torque output requires greater rear-end stability.
