McLaren, one of the most storied names in motorsport, burst onto the supercar scene with the 2011 MP4-12C, quickly establishing itself as a major player in the junior supercar market. A key part of this success was the integration of motorsport-derived technology, such as carbon chassis construction, into a road-friendly and highly usable package. Naturally, the suspension followed the same philosophy, featuring twin wishbones at each corner. Unfortunately, the original suspension bushes are fairly ordinary bonded rubber, and over time, this has created issues for owners. With every road bump, this torsional, radial and axial movement within the bush stresses the rubber, causing it to tear and become delaminated from the centre mounting bar, allowing excessive movement and potential squeaking. Combine this with the natural ageing and oxidation of rubber, and even a top-tier supercar can feel far from its best. A small number of cars were made with M8 bolts. PF41K-2001 only fits some MP4-12C models, therefore. If the hole centre spacing is 92mm and the bolt size is M8, please use PF41K-2001. If the hole centre spacing is 96mm and the bolt size is M10, please use PF41K-1001. Please check before purchasing. Each PF41K-2001 kit contains eight bushes, enough for either the front or rear axle. Order two kits if you require enough parts for a full car set.
